科目の概要 | This book will focus on grammar, conversation, and everyday useful vocabulary. The students will also get a chance to interact using conversation models. They will also learn useful vocabulary that they can use in a variety of situations. Homework sections will be used to reinforce what is learned. | ||||
授業方針 | The goal of this class is to further the students ability to interact in an English speaking setting as well as give them more confidence to use what they have learned in the future. |

Unit 2 Countable/Uncountable words | Food vocabulary, places in the kitchen, using “where”, ”is”, ”are”, ”how much”, ”how many” when discussing countable and uncountable nouns. | |
Unit 3 Countable/Uncountable words revisited. | Supermarket and restaurant conversational English. Discussing recipes. | |
Unit 4 Simple future tense. Using “maybe” and “might”. | Describing future activities and their probability using “maybe” and “might”. | |
Unit 5 Adjectives and Opposites. Comparatives. | Describing things and people with everyday adjectives then comparing them. | |
Unit 6 More adjectives and opposites. Superlatives. | Describing things and people and comparing them using superlative sentences. | |
Unit 7 Directions and Places around town. | Giving directions to and from everyday places in a normal town setting. | |
Unit 8 Occupations and Adverbs | Discussing everyday occupations and how actions are done using adverbs. |

評価方法及び 総合評価 | Exams will be held in a formal setting with listening and answer sections. Tests will count for 75% of the final grade. Homework will count for 25%. Passing grade- 60%. |
