科目の概要 | This book will focus on grammar, conversation, and everyday useful vocabulary. The students will also get a chance to interact using conversation models. They will also learn useful vocabulary that they can use in a variety of situations. Homework sections will be used to reinforce what is learned. | ||||
授業方針 | The goal of this class is to further the students ability to interact in an English speaking setting as well as give them more confidence to use what they have learned in the future. |

Unit 4 Adjectives and Opposites | Describing things with adjectives and opposites. | |
Unit 5 Family | Discussing the family tree and different family members. Conversation with “who”, “where”, and “what”. | |
Unit 6 Frequency words | Conversations with “how often” and the correct use of frequency words. Correct use of “have” and “has”. | |
Unit 7 Occupations, Abilities, Responsibilities | Everyday occupations. Describing abilities using “can” and “can’t”. Discussing responsibilities using “has to” and “have to”. | |
Unit 8 Future tense, Weather Forecasts, Telling Time, Desires. | Simple future tense using “going to”. Discussing future weather forecasts. How to tell time correctly. Talk about desires using “wants to” and “want to”. | |

評価方法及び 総合評価 | Exams will be held in a formal setting with listening and answer sections. Tests will count for 75% of the final grade. Homework will count for 25%. Passing grade- 60%. |
