科目の概要Digital Signal Processing (DSP) is very popular to model or represent the state or behavior of a physical systems. The objective of this course is to provide a basic introduction to the theory of DSP.
授業方針Students can:
1. understand the basic concept of DSP.
2. understand what LTI systems are.
3. understand z-transform.
4. design simple digital filters.

Discrete-Time Signals and Systems

Students will be able to know how to represent discrete time signals and systems.
Z-transforms

Students will be able to know the concept of Z-transform.
Linear Time Invariant Systems

Students will be able to know what LTI systems are.
Discrete Fourie Transform

Students will be able to know the basics of DFT.
Multirate Signal Processing

Students will be able to know the concept of multi-rate sampling and how to change the sampling rate.
Filter design

Students will be able to know how to design digital filters.
Lab(Filter design and its implementation)

Students will be able to design digital filters with some softwares and implement on a computer.

Students can understand theory of multi-rate signal processing and apply it to filter banks.Students can answer simple problems provided in the textbook. In addition that students can design own digital filters on a computer.Students cannot understand examples in the textbook.

学習方法Flipped lecture will be introduced. Therefore students have to watch lecture videos in advance of each classes. The videos will be uploaded on Webclass.
