| 科目の位置付けと関連科目 | 本科目は1，2年の高校英語を基礎にしたものであり、4年生の英語Ⅳおよび5年生の英語Ⅴの学習の土台となるものである。また、英検・TOEICなどの英語試験と関連性が深い。 | ||||
| 科目の概要 | The book to be used in this class will focus on oral communication through constant verbal output. This will be done through songs, speaking activities, and dialogues. Each unit begins with a song which will focus on pronunciation, grammatical sentence structures, and vocabulary. The speaking activities will encourage students to interact in pairs while being guided through typically spoken American English by posing questions and eliciting answers. The dialogue comprehension section will work on listening comprehension skills as well as enhancing the ability to respond to questions about the dialogues’ content. | ||||
| 授業方針 | The goal of this intensive class is to spend ample time speaking and thinking on one’s feet. Time will be devoted to internalizing speaking patterns and expressions as well as encouraging constant output through singing and a variety of speaking activities. | ||||
